Anglesey Seaside Award Success

Congratulations are due to a number of Anglesey beaches for winning the prestigious Seaside Award flag.

Visitors will recognise this achievement when they see the distinctive blue and yellow flag flying at a beach they visit.

To qualify for this quality standard a beach has to meet the minimum European standard for bathing water quality.

There is also the need to demonstrate clearly that there is quality infrastructure in place.

The awarding body also looks for evidence of high standards of management of the site.
