Isle of Man to Anglesey flights
Isle of Man air operator Manx2 launches new flights to Anglesey airport for this summer starting on 6 August and lasting for one month.
Manx2 says the service will leave the Isle of Man for RAF Valley on Anglesey every Monday and Friday, with flights costing only £39 for a single.
Only recently Manx2 secured a temporary contract for the twice daily, weekly flight service betweem Anglesey and Cardiff Wales Airport, a contract awarded by the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) and due to run to December 2010.
This new initiative offers a great chance for Manx residents to fly south to Anglesey airport, visit the beautiful island and other areas on the North Wales mainland in a fast, comfortable and convenient way.
Geoff Corkish, a spokesman for Isle of Man Tourism said this special flights service is a great opportunity for the two Irish Sea islands to work together for mutually beneficial ends.
He said visitors from North Wales will receive "a big Manx welcome".
Mr Corkish said Isle of Man Tourism offers its "congratulations to Manx2.com for its tremendous link and boost for tourism" and is an intiative that has the island's full support.
This is also a great opportunity for Anglesey residents, or indeed visitors to the island, to explore the beautiful Isle of Man.
