(Anglesey)
Enjoy a relaxing stay in a self-catering farmhouse cottage near Rhoscolyn on Holy Island, Anglesey. “Ty Clyd” at Rhyd y Bont Farm could be just the ideal short break holiday, to get away from all the stresses of life.
This cottage is part of an 18th century farmhouse within a few hundred yards of the tidal Cymyran estuary which runs between Anglesey and Holy Island.
Your cottage accommodation is for two people, and there is space for a dog too. While it is attached to the main farmhouse, it has its own front door with a lawned patio garden and barbecue, and generous hedges which afford the privacy needed.
The location is ideal for those who enjoy walking and is close to the Anglesey Coastal Path. You can also enjoy magnificent coastal views out towards Cymyran and breathtaking canvas of the Snowdon Mountains to the East.
What is available?
The sitting room includes a double bed, a storage heater, open log fire and a two-seater setee. There is also a small library and full TV and DVD facility.
In the small kitchen you will have an electric hob, microwave and fridge with ice box, kettle and toaster. There is a rule about no frying so as to protect furniture.
Anglesey Coastal Cottages can provide home-cooked meals by prior arrangement, which can be heated up in the hob.
You can also get ready-cooked meals at the mini-supermarket in Valley, and small snacks and breakfasts are available at Gegin Fach, Four Mile Bridge.
Dish washing facilities are available in the shower room, which also has a heated towel rail and fan.
