Swing Jive (Lindy Hop) Workshops, Sat 21st March 1.30 - 5pm, & Sat 16th May 2015 Learn to Lindy Hop, the precursor to Rock and Roll! Come and learn authentic and fun moves, then time to practice to some great music by the greats! With our favorite teacher Sandy Bennett, who will share with us her wealth of Swing Jive experience. No need to bring a partner, all welcome. Garth Community Centre, Garth Hill, Bangor, LL57 2SY (Opposite the Boatyard Pub on the road to the pier). Only £20. Here is the schedule for weekly classes. Learn fun and funky dance routines to your favourite tunes, and create your own dances. £5. Also Wednesdays 5-5.45pm Penrallt Chapel, Holyhead rd, Upper Bangor LL57 2EU. - 7.30 -8.30pm AFRO-FIT A fun workout using traditional African& Afro-Brazilian dance £5. TUESDAYS Academi, Deiniol Rd, Bangor, LL57 2UW. - 7-8pm BURLESQUE dance. Next course starts Tuesday 14th April, then next one 2nd June. £30 for the 6-week course. - 8.15-9.45pm SALSA, £5. No need to bring a partner. All welcome, including Two Left Feet! WEDNESDAYS Academi, Deiniol Rd, Bangor, LL57 2UW. - 6.30 -7.30pm ZUMBA Dance-Fitness. Empowering, sexy showgirl routines. This class is great for toning and burning calories, not to mention lots of fun!
