Enjoy a traditional Victorian Christmas in Beaumaris on Saturday, 27 November starting at 2 pm. You are invited to bring family and friends along to this fantastic festival.
You will discover there will be lots to enjoy - the colours, the smells, the sounds of Christmas at this years' Beaumaris Victorian Festival.
The festival kicks off at 2 o'clock when you will find a wide range of craft and charity stalls situated across the various narrow streets of the the town.
Here's a great chance to learn more about Beaumaris and explore these lanes, avenues and streets – in the shadow of Beaumaris Castle and Gaol.
You should have some good opportunities to choose a wide range of Christmas cards and small gifts as stocking fillers.
As Christmas music and the smell of roasted chestnuts fills the air, you can visit some of the interesting galleries in the town, providing another chance to secure the right gift for a loved one.
Expect to be entertained wherever you happen to be in Beaumaris on Saturday, with a wealth of Christmas stalls providing hot snacks and mulled wine, perfect to keep Grandfather Frost at bay.
Are you keen to win a prize? Well, you have to enter the Grand Raffle which has a top prize of £100. Add to that various prizes for the best fancy dress, on both Christmas and Victorian themes, for both children and adults prizes.
So if you are up for the fancy dress competition, you'll need to be ready to join the parade which starts on the seafront at 6 o'clock. The parade will eventually make its way to White Lion Square, where the judges will decide and present the prizes.
So cast off your worries, dress up and rub shoulders with Queen Victoria and Mr Brown, the Piper and Beaumaris Band in the parade.
When the parade has reached the White Lion Square, the Christmas Tree lights will be switched on.
You can also expect to have a wide and exciting choice of tombolas and charity raffles with the chance to win a prize.
So brighten up the gloom of a late November weekend and immerse yourself in a truly Victorian Christmas in Beaumaris.
