Together Forever, Alternative Ceremonies for All
Christine Davies of Llangadwaladr on Anglesey offers personalised ceremonies of commitment, celebration of life services and christening ceremonies. These alternative ceremonies can be arranged locally or in other parts of the United Kingdom. Christine often travels some distance to meet the special needs of her clients. Preparation is very thorough and can take up to around 70 hours, including completing an introductory questionnaire, then a face-to-face meeting to discuss the preferred format, and then the designing of the event. Together Forever aims to help you create your own very special day; one which you, your partner and family will remember for the rest of your lives. Let's start at the very beginning, with a 'Christening Celebration', alternatively referred to as a 'naming ceremony'. This stage in a child's life is considered very important by parents as they are accepted into the wider family and community. Many parents, these days, do not attend church regularly and prefer a ceremony in which they have a large part to play in making their own pledges to the child and creating a perfect day. Together Forever works with the parents, siblings and grandparents to produce a service which will last for ever in the minds of all who attend. If a child was not christened as a baby, it is still possible to offer a service of love and hope at the place of choice for the parents where they can make their promises to their children in the presence of close family and friends.

Moving along life's journey we come to Ceremonies of Commitment between couples, either for those who cannot marry, don't wish to legally wed or perhaps for those couples who wish to reaffirm their wedding vows. Couples can write their own vows, rings can be exchanged and a certificate of commitment signed. Each service is unique in it's content and design and a bound copy of the service is presented to the couple on the day; a wonderful momento of their special day, to enjoy through the coming years. And then at the end of life's journey there are the Celebration of Life ceremonies available for families who have lost loved ones, who may have requested an alternative to the traditional funeral service. At what is understandably a difficult time for the family, Christine prepares a unique tribute that encapsulates the values and themes of the loved one. In these circumstances arrangements have to be accelerated, often with as little as four days to complete everything. This will include arranging the venue, agreeing on any songs, hymns or other means of remembering the life of the unique individual. Woodland burials and wicker coffins are examples of other components of alternative services. Any of the services can be conducted at the place of your choice (even outside) and the day and time of your choice.
